I don't know about you, but mascara is one of my least-bought beauty products. I feel like to me, it's an afterthought at times...but I shouldn't. Sometimes I forget to add it in my beauty routine, but it is one of those things that tie a whole look together. It just gives me extra oomph and femininity on my "no makeup" days.
Then when the new L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara released on the market, the beauty community started going wild. This screamed BTS without the hefty price tag. I mean, look at the packaging: the tube is shiny millenial pink with the hourglass-shaped wand:

At first I wasn't very wowed by the L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise. I felt like it didn't give me as much volume as BTS did. I want my lashes big and bold. But overtime, it's growing on me. It looks great when I'm not wearing other makeup besides BB cream, some blush and brows. Maybe something on the lid for that extra pop. I coat it 3-4 times (as shown below) and it adds volume without clumping, which is nice because I hate when my lashes look like spider legs. BTS did have a bit of clumping if I can remember. I have naturally straight and not-so-long lashes (I'm jealous of Cecilio's longer lashes), and I love how this gives a bit of a curl. No lash curler needed! And of course, it lengthens.

I found my new mascara for the next 3 months. I would love to do a separate post to compare this to the original L'Oreal Voluminous and Rimmel ScandalEyes RetroGlam. If you are a big fan of BTS but on a budget, I highly recommend this!
