Marvel Heroes Omega Begins Open Beta on PS4

If you never got an invite, won a key, or otherwise bought a Founder’s Pack for the PS4 beta of Marvel Heroes, then your patience (or perhaps bad luck) has paid off. Marvel Heroes Omega open beta has begun today, along with word of when Xbox One players will get their hands on the MMOARPG.

Open beta introduces a large variety of adjustments made to the game as a result of player feedback during closed testing, including ease-of-use, hero balancing, and the expected amount of bug fixes.

In celebration of the start of open beta, everyone who plays Marvel Heroes on the PS4 will be granted a free unlock of Daredevil. Getting the unlock is as simple as installing the game’s client and getting the character from the PlayStation Store.

In addition to open beta for PS4, Marvel Heroes Omega has revealed the date of the MMO’s arrival on the Xbox One as Tuesday, June 20th. A trailer for the PS4 open beta can be seen below.

Our Thoughts

Games like Marvel Heroes always seem to feel a little better with a controller, and the addition of Marvel Heroes Omega to the growing console market is an awesome development. We’re definitely looking forward to diving in ourselves and seeing what the game is all about on PS4.
